This course is for any non-Assessor that would like to become a NABERS Energy & Water for Residential Aged Care & Retirement Living Assessor.
It contains three modules and three associated exams that must be done in the following order:
NABERS Assessor 101
Learn: The basic rules for collecting building data, get an overview of all our different rating tools and understand the procedures Assessors must follow when rating buildings.
Format: Available online to do in your own time - estimate 2 hours
Metering and Consumption
Learn: How to read meters, follow single line diagrams and how to go about conducting a site visit. These are all prerequisite knowledge and skills required for your work as a NABERS Assessor.
Format: Available online to do in your own time - estimate 3 hours
Energy & Water for Residential Aged Care & Retirement Living
Learn: How to calculate an Energy & Water rating for Residential Aged Care & Retirement Living and understand how to lodge rating data with our software, NABERS Perform.
Format: Available online to do in your own time - estimate 7 hours
PLEASE NOTE
Supervised rating: After passing all three exams, your first rating application will be supervised. This is a key part of the NABERS training program. The cost of the supervision is included in your enrolment price.
Duration: You will need to submit the final exam within 30 days of the course to be eligible for accreditation.
Once enrolled, you'll have access to the course for a year.
