To: Become accredited to perform Energy for Retail Stores ratings.
Prerequisite modules: Both NABERS Assessor 101 and the Metering and Consumption modules.
Learn: This course contains three modules and three associated exams:
NABERS Assessor 101 The basic rules for collecting building data, get an overview of all our different rating tools and understand the procedures Assessors must follow when rating buildings.
Metering and Consumption How to read meters, follow single line diagrams and how to go about conducting a site visit. These are all prerequisite knowledge and skills required for your work as a NABERS Assessor.
Energy for Retail Stores How to calculate an Energy rating for Retail Stores and understand how to lodge rating data with our online platform, NABERS Perform.
Duration: Estimated 12-16 hours.
Format: Online, at your own pace.
Assessment: Multiple choice exam to be submitted within 30 days from enrolment in the exam.
Access: Once enrolled, you'll have access to the course for a year.
Resources: You will need access to NABERS Perform to complete the worked examples for this course.
Supervised rating: New Assessors who have not conducted a supervised energy and/or water rating for other building sectors will need to undertake a supervised rating as part of their accreditation in this course.
